Academic, Cultural and Linguistic Immersion

SEK Education Group offers, both to SEK students and to students from other schools, the chance to spend six months or a full academic sabbatical at the following schools:

• SEK Dublin International School (between the ages of 12 and 18 – IB Middle Years Programme and Diploma Programme)
• SEK International School Les Alpes (2nd and 3rd years of compulsory secondary education)
• SEK International Schools in Spain (between the ages of 12 and 18 – IB Middle Years Programme and Diploma Programme)

Either boarding on school grounds or living with a host family.

Students will enjoy the academic stay abroad, experiencing a new culture, getting to know other groups of people, and a different way of life. They will make new international friendships whilst learning, improving and developing fluency in another language.

The academic sabbaticals are the perfect combination of classes, communal living and activity for encouraging the desire to learn.
